Was this hypoglycemia?
This is purely out of curiosity, because I’m in medical school and we haven’t extensively covered diabetes yet.
A girl that was at a party I was at was diabetic (not sure which type, but she takes insulin shots) and drinking excessive amounts of beer. She was also smoking weed. She started feeling sick and acting really strange and screaming a lot and throwing up. We tried to test her blood sugar, but she was apparently out of strips so we couldn’t do it. We ended up calling rescue and they took her to the hospital.
Does this sound like hypoglycemia? Best answer goes to the most informative.
