Can I use blood sugar testing strips to test the sugar content of juices?

Like those diabetic strips that attaches to a meter and measures blood sugar – Can they be used to measure sugar content in foods?

If not, I need to find a way to measure the amount of sugar in juices for a science experiment.

PS: I’m in high school so no expensive equipment! Thanks.
